Do you use genuine or aftermarket parts?

We offer both genuine Apple parts and carefully selected non-genuine parts. You choose whichever option best suits your needs and your budget.

The prices in our price list apply to non-genuine parts. These parts are selected to deliver good performance, stable operation and high reliability at a lower price than genuine Apple parts.

If you'd prefer genuine Apple parts, we order the correct component specifically for your device. Normal delivery time is three to five business days.

We can order genuine components for iPhone, iPad, MacBook and Apple Watch. This includes screens, cameras, speakers, Face ID components, back glass, charging ports and other replacement parts.

What kind of screens do you use for screen replacements?

All screen replacement prices in our price list use high-quality Soft OLED screens for iPhone 12 and newer models.

How long is the warranty on a repair?

Accepted Answer

We give a 1-year warranty on all our repairs, except for damage caused by drops, crushing, OLED damage or water damage. The warranty only covers the parts we replaced, not the device's other components.

Do you need access to my device or passcode?

Accepted Answer

We take your data security seriously. In 95% of cases we need neither access to your device nor your passcode, and we'd rather you didn't share it with us. If a situation ever requires access, we'll always consult you first.

Question 5

What should I do before dropping off my device for repair?

Accepted Answer

We strongly recommend backing up your device before service, removing the SIM card, and dropping it off without a charger or other accessories. We also recommend disabling "Find My iPhone" (Settings → tap your name → Find My → Find iPhone) if possible — this isn't required, but it can simplify and speed up the repair. Backing up your data is your own responsibility; our repair warranty covers the device and its components, not data stored on it.

Will my phone be waterproof after a repair?

Accepted Answer

No. Almost no phones are marketed as waterproof, only water-resistant, and that resistance can weaken after a repair or simply over time. We always install a new screen gasket with every repair to seal it as well as possible, but after 10 years in the business we've seen that even brand-new phones can let water in — wear, drops and general use can create small gaps in the frame that let water through.

Can I get my repair done the same day?

Yes, many repairs are completed the same day when you book in advance and use aftermarket parts. Genuine parts normally take 3-5 business days to arrive.

How do you repair the back glass on iPhone models where it can't be replaced directly?

Accepted Answer

Most iPhone models before the iPhone 14 Pro (aside from the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus) weren't designed by Apple to have the back glass replaced on its own. So we use a specialized laser machine to carefully remove the old glass, then fit an aftermarket back glass — the only option for this type of repair. For technical reasons this glass is about 0.5mm smaller than the original, so we seal carefully around the back glass and camera module for the best possible fit. On some colors, such as purple on the iPhone 14 Pro, the shade can look slightly lighter than the original, since no genuine Apple glass exists for this repair.
