Screen replacement: genuine or aftermarket part?
This is the choice nearly every customer faces at screen replacement time. Here are the differences, no sales pitch.
Aftermarket: fastest and most affordable
The prices in our price list apply to high-quality aftermarket parts — carefully selected for good performance and reliability at a lower cost than genuine parts. For iPhone 12 and newer we use Soft OLED screens. Most aftermarket screen replacements are done the same day.
Genuine: identical to what shipped from the factory
If you'd rather have a genuine Apple screen, we order it specifically for your device, normally with a 3–5 business day lead time. The price is higher, but you get a part that's 100% identical to the original.
Which should you choose?
Most customers are very happy with aftermarket quality, especially when wait time and price matter. If you're planning to resell the phone, or want everything to be genuine Apple, the original part is the right call. Both options are covered by a 12-month warranty, except for damage from drops, crushing, OLED damage or water damage.
